The Weeks Ski Pictures

Here are the ski pictures from this weekend. Hiked up and skied a shoot in the Tobacco root mountains. The summit had big winds and an awesome view, skiing was a little hard but the trip kicked ass. My kind of mountaineering, an awesome mountain followed by a 40 in the sauna. I rule. Enough said.

Eating fancy chocolate on pinapple while drinking martini's at Kara's friends birthday party. We ate really good catered food and drank excellent vodka. I even bought some wingtips at salvation army and some shoe polish that cost more than the shoes themselves. But they look damn good, I tell you what. 

Greedy assholes

Sweet, someone is sueing toyota for infringing on a patent with their hybrid vehicles. Maybe if were lucky they'll get banned in the united states and we can continue guzzling gas at an even faster rate. Then we'll just have to take over a few more countries.

Mount Superior

Ian, Marshall and I climbed up and rode down this mountain today across from Alta ski area outside of Salt Lake City. It was pretty good, the snow was nice in the shade but crusty in the sun. It has been really warm the last couple of days in the mountains, almost 50 today at 9,000 feet. The top of this peak was 11,060 and it was still just below freezing.

And a happy new year

First stop: Lost Trail powder mountain. A small ski area on the montana idaho border where jesse and I learned to ski and snowboard. The last time we went there we got fresh tracks all day in 14" of fresh snow.


After that the tentative plan invovlves Discovery Basin in Montana, Jackson hole, Teton pass and Snowbird.

Trip Summary

So here's a quick trip recap for anybody interested.

Spent a week in Pittsburgh...

Went to Storrs, Providence, and
Boston with JP1...

Drank some espresso...

Spent a couple weeks in
Fredricksburgh...

Caught a Civil war reenactment...
What a suprise, the Confederate won...

Then I went to Sterling and survived a visit with Phil. Sorry, no pictures. I decided it would be too dangerous to carry my camera around with me. Now I'm in Arnold, MD for a week.

Hi to all. I finally got out of Fredricksburgh, VA and found some internet access. Not that I didn't like seeing my grandma and all, but I've been feeling a little disconnected lately. Right now I'm at Phillip Greggs place in Sterling, VA. We went to Washington lastnight and quickly became inebriated.

PRESIDENT BUSH admitted yesterday for the first time that his decision to go to war in Iraq was based on faulty intelligence. But he still said that the decision to remove Saddam Hussein had been “the right one”.

Wow, people over here are ridiculous sometimes

So two of my supposed friends decided they didn't like me being with my girlfriend Kara for known and unknown reasons.. Instead of telling me this, they lied to her about things I did when she wasn't around to try and get her to break up with me. "Wow" is all I can say.

What am I supposed to do with these people? All I want are friends that can respect my decisions even if they don't like them, and support them. Is that too much to ask? Stupid stressed out east coast..
