Ski Trip

Went skiing for the second time this winter and it was very much winter up there. After sliding down a hill backwards on ice we decided that chains on the truck were in order. Nobody likes loading their shorts that early in the day. Or any point in the day for that matter, or any day, or really any time. Did some crappy skin trail work, actually followed one so I'm only taking 27% blame for how crappy it was. Had a boot pack, of course. First run was surprisingly good, and oh my god the pink floyd just cycled into something kind of fucked up.

Second run was a chute that goes all the way to the ridge, where the wind was blowing about 1 million miles an hour and winter was pulling a good imitation of January. Ski the chute, great snow and heinous visibility, rock roulette back to the truck, and drive home. Epic sauna, end of story.
