Cooke City
Unfortunatley I didn't take any pictures in the Miner's Saloon. It's like the Boodles of mining bars. Crowds of slednecks decked out in Arctic Cat jackets being forced to listen to the Micheal Franti blasting on the jukebox being played by the owner.
Here's some mountain pictures

Marias Pass

Went skiing today on the Autumn Creek trail on Marias Pass on the edge of Glacier. The trail starts on the top of the pass and is 5-6 miles of overall downward trail to the highway where you have hopefully left a car. Was sunny and clear which made for a good overall trip.

Took a couple dogs as well (1 is missing in this picture)

Remove entire dashboard... Check

I've learned how they build a Subaru. They start with a heater core hanging from a chain and start bolting car pieces onto it untill they have a completed car

Merry Christmas Jesse and John....
Virtual Santa sends you two essentials to make your season Merry and Bright.....
You'll have to share, virtually.
Description:
The Reebok® RB310 recumbent bike combines state-of-the-art (State of the Art!) technology for a complete workout with brand new features of luxury and entertainment. The bike's 12 resistance levels give you the choice of a rigorous or light workout. The ClearView™ Backlit Console displays your time, speed, distance, resistance, pulse and calories burned. The new ExerPlay™ touch screen gives you the opportunity to play video games while you exercise.
(Holy crap. Video games!)
Whoa. That's amazing. In fact, so amazing that I had to search the web for other video game/exercise combinations. Here's one that's less exercise, and more video game. ![]()

Description reads:
A Virtual Reality Experience That is Fun for Everyone | |
| The Cateye GameBike is a Revolutionary Plug and Play video game controller. The GameBike transforms gaming into a truly interactive experience. Imagine controlling every movement on the screen with your own body movement. Control steering, speed, turns, strategy and more! The Plug and Play Cateye GameBike connects to Sony Playstation 2, and other video game consoles. Play against the computer, or, connect additional GameBikes and compete against friends. The Cateye GameBike works with any of the 50+ speed-related games that are popular today, including many car, off-road, speedboat, and motorcycle racing games, to name just a few. | |
Looks like these kids are having a lot of fun. Way better than actually going outside to ride your bike, don't you think? (Again, note the snide sarcasm...)

The trip that wasn't but was kind of
Went out today with the plan of an overnight duck blasting, beer chugging adventure on the Missouri. Unfortunately the river was frozen completely over, who would have thought. Falling back on plan B, not the plan B that's the cure for the baby disease, it was decided we would make a lame attempt at hunting walking a chunk of land. The ducks were sparse and on to our plan, but the mud shooting was second to none.
Whatever
stupid river

Big Sky
Sucks. This is the explorer lift. It attempted to carry all the traffic for the day and broke down. We substituted $.50 malt beverages for good snow/weather.

What?

I'm not really sure what is happening in either of these pictures, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.
