Equipment Test

So I was bombing down a grassy hill today, and I hit what I'd like to call a "land mine".. A knee deep hole hidden by dry grass.. I flew several feet, and my bike flew even farther.. A few scrapes, but nothing to write home about.. And no equipment was broken, even though I had my camera and Ipod in my pockets. The funny thing was, the ipod flew out and I had to look around for it until I found it, upside down still playing off to the side.. Oh, and an old lady saw the whole thing. The way I see it is: if you're going to do something spectacular by accident, someone might as well be watching.

The Hole, and impact, and the bike

Hole on right, impact in the middle, and bike on left.

The damage.. You shoulda seen the funny looks I got riding through UConn covered in grass with a bleeding knee.. Whatever, fuck 'em.

That's just how we do things in Montana. Reckless, and without regard to life or limb.

"Land mines", "No regard for life or limb"...Sounds like both the country and JP1 are currently at war. Good luck to the both of you.
