Sweeney Peak

The season's not quite over yet. This is a view of St. Joseph's Peak. Those are the Pyramid Buttes on the right side of the image. It was a nice 8 hour adventure. The snow was so hard in the morning that I didn't even use my snowshoes. By the time I reached the summit it was about 11:30 and the sun had warmed up the slush quite nicely, making a fast & wet ride down. Oh, and I lost my goggles up there somewhere. Sonofabitch.

Nice work Rob. Where are the pictures of what you came down? Goggles and poles are good things to leave on peaks.

See you Saturday.
